important functionality, most notably the ability to both MIDI assign/learn and host automate MASSIVE’s awesome LFO’s/Modulators. Check out the video, your wobbles will be much easier to achieve, and you’ll be able to get a lot more experimental with your modulations. By the way, that is Ableton Live 8 acting as a host in the second half of the video. The background music is unreleased, unfinished edit of “Ahoy” by Computo. More videos and tutorials coming soon, sorry for the time …

Thanx for the tutorial — very informative

there is one more hint, folks:

after your basic wobble is ready, add some(about 3) unisons in “voice” menu and play with a bit higher pitch

    sounds dubsteppy =)

  • EvidenceRecords:

    Good call!

  • RADIMAXUK:

what is the name of the second program you are using in this video? :P

  • EvidenceRecords:

Oh sorry! That’s ableton, but really most sequencer/DAW applications will do this functionality. Just make sure you are running the most recent update, because some hosts do not recognize all of the possible host automation parameters.

  • djtoonraider666:

sorry to be ignorant but what type of music is it at the start i am a dubstep dj but just dont really know what genre it is

jump step or tek step or somthing

  • EvidenceRecords:

Electro? House? I don’t know, you tell me! I can’t keep up with the names and permutations anymore. All I want to know is if people like it and will get down to it… :)

  • EvidenceRecords:

    Seriously, I don’t know! :)

  • mazzagardo:

it Sounds Electro House To Me

  • EvidenceRecords:

Thats sort of where I was going with it… There’s so much crossover now, between electronic genres, a lot of people are mixing this type of stuff and dubstep together.

  • SpencerLush:

where can i get this song?! its so fucking amazingggggggg.

  • tdwp1992:

Fuck yeah! That was the worst thing about Massive. I think that now makes it the perfect synth!

  • ricoagt:

Maybe Im dumb :D but i still duno how u get that menu that start @ 1:10

  • murdertronix:

When you update on the applications. Updated version of ableton or massive? I cant seem to find the ratio parameters in ableton. In ableton i find modulators 5 rate….ect. but cant seem to get your modulator.. grrr head ache

  • ricoagt:

Aha.. so those stuff which starts @ 1:10 are only for ableton? coz im using FL 8

  • ALGERONICS:

yeah how can i update so i can automate the wobble??

  • Legahsee1:

yupp..lil waynes trying along with chris brown honestly i think they failed

  • donaldjamesstanley:

can u program the automation in cubase like how you’ve done it on ableton

  • donaldjamesstanley:
