hey im getting a chinchilla for x-mas….are they peaceful…and do they bite? also how much would you spend on food and^dust?
aww i held a chinchilla once and it was so soft an cute! and whiskers were all moving at once! it was adorable!

ya, usually they are peacful, but sometimes they can b squirmy. they might bite, but if they do, then it doesn’t do anything 2 you and doesn’t hurt and they’ll do it like really rarely if they do which they probably won’t. they might scratch you, but that doesn’t hurt either. u shoudl probably request getting 1 from a breeder. then it won’t have any diseases it might have from the stores. usually u can ask petco if they know a breeder’s #. on food and dust, you could expect from 15-40 $

around 10$ Get Kaytee brand you can get it at peco petsmart and fleetfarm if you have one there i do suggest FLeetfarm its about 5 there
