You should get another blue ribbon for your shoebox. Your parents must be proud. Next time email me when I know we should be racing.

I like how that guy was so proud of his build time. . . and your response.

uh any comments on the video itself? Was this edited in HD? -so if I buy the Canon rv-850, I will be able to shoot in hi resolution and then edit in hi-definition and then playback on high definition tv?

  • spoonyfork:

The Canon ZR850 does not record in HD. I suppose one could use use either hardware or software to upscale the video for playback on an HD TV. However I do not believe iMove HD can do that natively. Regardless, if you want Hd on your HD TV I’d recommend recording in HD from the start.

dude… awesome video, but im gonna get the exact video camera you got (the zr850) like in 1 week. so i was wondering, is it worth the money and is the picture quality good on your computer. Also if u have put any video from your video camera onto a dvd.. how is the quality on the tv! and how small is it! And wats this about slow computers or something…? if u can tell me the requirements or anything i need to know.! Please answer me bak!!! Pleeeze!!!

  • spoonyfork:

The Canon ZR850′s picture quality on the compy and on the TV is OK for the money. Of course picture quality also depends on the quality of the compy display and TV technology. The ZR850 shoots in true 16:9 wide screen so it will display correctly on wide screen TVs. Keep in mind the ZR850 is a cheap point and shoot camcorder, it doesn’t record in HD or perform highly in low light situations. You can get all the system requirements and detailed specs off the Canon website canonusa{dot}com.

    Some body is too slow.

I like that at the end.
    It made me laugh.

Ironically after that last edition, a ACTUAL time is not given for making the draws.

  • PrometheanFlame:

    Hey, I have the same dresser and I’m having trouble putting together. How did you get the screws through the metal stands so that they are able to permanently stick to the wooden interior? I’m talking about the screws that are not used to attach the stands to the drawers. I’m having trouble with that part. I can easily finish the drawers, but they will have nothing to slide onto properly. ^^;

  • spoonyfork:

I’m trying to think back and perhaps you have to open the rails in order to be able to access the holes to screw them in to the walls. Assuming we’re talking about the same thing.

  • PrometheanFlame:

Yeah, I think we’re talking about the same thing. I opened the rails, there are three holes that I can access but only one leads to the pre-made hole in the wall. But do I have to push deeply in order to get the screw to connect with the wall through the metal hole? I’m having trouble getting from the metal to the wood, after extending the rail. Should I hammer the screw a little to widen the metal opening?

  • spoonyfork:

Are you sure you’re using the right size screws? Are you trying to put them in the right place? Check the directions, it all lines up perfectly. Good luck.

  • CaptinCaruso:

    how long did this take?

  • WesternSunrise:

“trash furniture assemble line” should be a better name for this video

  • Hildenbrands:

What do you expect when we live in a throw away society. Gets worse and worse all the time.

  • spoonyfork:

What alternative do you offer, sumptuariae leges? It is a self-given right to sit in judgment of who can own what? A kind of libertarian totalitarianism? Someone could make the same judgment about your worthiness to consume a computing device used to make inane ironic comments on Youtube. :P

  • Hildenbrands:

First off, I didn’t say anything about your choice to own it. That is entirely up to you on what kind of furniture you wish to own.

As for being inane, my point was in my reply to the OP who stated it was trash furniture. The whole point is that it’s cheap to buy and will be thrown away in far less time than a quality piece.

Or do you think that it will really stand the test of time like an oak dresser, or even inexpensive poplar or pine.

  • Hildenbrands:

But, that is indeed my opinion. One of which I have a right to have.

    Enjoy your day. :)
