The NRA is the oldest,biggest,most organised group of gun owners we have here. They even hold training classes for law enforcement. They are our best hope for continued gun ownership and second am. rights. You could have used an org. like them to stop your lawmakers from flushing your gun rights down the toilet. Instead of thinking ahead lets think to the past. Why did the founding fathers create the second ammendment? Lets go to major scale of the usa and see if gun control has worked in the past. what is considered a weapon, including black belts of karate, or any other martial arts? If martial arts is listed as a weapon would you have to push them out of the country for being a weapon or put them in jail for being a weapon? Why would somebody break into your home? and do you believe in violence?

I think its total bs that guns are allowed. The argument that guns brought independence is invalid. It was 300 years ago. Now a person with a regular gun can’t do anything against the government. The country is infested and and the Constitution abolished without war or guns. Americans don’t rule their own country anyway.

You don’t get it. By taking away people’s legal rights to own guns, youre just treating the symptom rather than the cause of violence. Simply banning guns is not a realistic approach to end shootings and killings, because there are SO many guns in circulation in the US, and most of the ones used in crime are illegal and/or unregistered, therefore, no way to enforce them. It’s not as simple as you think, and contrary to media, guns are used for defense quite often.
Go read the history of gun control. If you think the 50 or so million people who have died as a DIRECT result of their not being able to defend themselves from their government over the last century alone deserved it, you don’t even have a right to an opinion.
Between Hitler’s Germany and Communist China, tens of millions have lost their lives when they could have defended themselves with firearms.
So is their death a crazy, flawed argument?
