I thought it was fake the first time I watched it, but its real like most has said. Playing the way he does it looks hes making notes happen strumming, but he is actually using his left hand to do hammer ons and pull offs which also vibrate the strings. In certain angles you cant see his left had very well.
I love his style really complicated and challenging.
The Original One is By Ryuichi Sakamoto Piano version,
I wonder if Ryuichi himself knows that Kotaro made a guitar version… Of course he knows.. In my opinion i like the Piano version, this version seems hard.
Plus it sounds better, my opinion but i’m not saying Kotaro sucks nor this piece. I just like Ryuichi Playing it better, try searching him on youtube.
