I love this I wonder why Nigel Kennedy hasn’t done a version with you? And have you been invited to Glastonbury to play this? If not why not…. Hum Michael Eaves. I’d love to hear this in St. Georges on Brandon Hill in Bristol.. Acoustic there are superb, quite small but a special venue. I saw Elvis Costello there last, or was it a mandolin orchestra. Among your beautiful works I think this is one of my fav’s! Keep on playing. Another music mad fan!

my dad says the song is about when 2 men liked each other (as a fren), 1 english man the other is a japanese man. In the end, the japanese man had to kill the english man. So, i guess the english man’s name was Lawrence. This song is co beautiful it made my heart melt. I hope one day i’ll be able to play this song. I’m planning to play this piece for my mom’s anniversary. :D

they respected each other. The Japanese man (played by Sakamoto) also loved the englishman (played by Bowie)
