you don’t understand its the thought that counts. you can buy a person a thousand gifts it doesn’t mean a thing if you just bought them for the occasion if a kid buys his mom a pair of shoes it could mean she never really had much gifts and the kid just wanted to see his mom smile before she passed away.
If you watch the movie it explains it. The mom remembered shoes just like that from her childhood and she remembered dancing in them. I dont remember the movie exactly but it explains why. Its really an amazing movie. The shoes were an amazing present. It you really should watch the movie. It is amazing.

And it isnt awful even if you dont understand it he does say he wants to buy his mom the shoes so she looks beautiful when she meets jesus. You really should see the movie.
The movie is about the circle of life, and how if we “keep our eyes open to it.,” we can see all the interconections amoungst us that all serve a master plan.
It also reminds us that the time we have with our loved ones “today,” out weighs any proffit we can make tomorrow. Today is really all we have, so make the most of it.
