Hey just to let you guys know… if you cannot stop the car from sliding you need to put it in 1st gear and allow the engine to slow it down. Use the brake sparingly. Locking the tires is the last thing you should do.

In conditions like this, first gear would still cause tires to break grip, then your screwed anyways. They should have steered into the sidewalk (assuming it was a decent distance from people) and hoped for the best

im guessing you live where it dont snow lol. when youre on ice theirs zero friction so no matter what you o your gonna hit them. i prayed to God last winter cause i was going 10mph and a guy started stopping in front of me maybe 500ft ahead. i sled the entire 500ft but luckily the guy took off a little and i got traction at the last second (maybe like 2mph) and went into the ditch. but maybe i should have dont what you said and gave it gas… what kind of idiot are you.
