nobody wanted mclame. What I wanted was the lack of consolidated power in the hands of one group. Yes I know they are all bought and paid for but they would have had to maintain the illusion with mclame that there was a left vs right. Now they don’t because they have “one” party the Plutocrats.

Legitimate economists all over are having intense discussions on the stimulus plan, thoughtfully considering the tedious question of the merits of the fiscal stimulus. Compare that with this video.

Have you read the “stimulus” instead of touting the merits of this fraud? 200 million for revitalizing the national mall. 95 million for “cyber security”. Billions for research. The entire thing, but for 426 million for small business loans( something that wouldn’t be enough to help businesses in CA ) is PORK!
These “legitimate economists” are likely the same jerks that created this mess through failed economic policies at the Federal Reserve( Not federal and NO reserves )

First they said that our ozone had a hole in it, now they say it is too thick. Then they started saying that the earth was in danger of “global warming”, and now they call it climate change. I’m not opposed to taking measures to help preserve a clean and healthy environment, but it is hardly the most pressing issue of the day. Also, are “they” taking into account the cycles of the Earth’s climate. Science tells us that small ice ages run on a cycle of ten thousand years…

the whole problem with Obamas package is that hes trying to fit everything he wants to do in his presidency into one single bill.
Its true most of this stuff isn’t going to help us now but once this economy bullshit blows over some of it might be ok for spending. Obama needs to be spending the money on new technology research, namely renewable fuels. That’s a good guaranteed to be successful market and will create a lot of jobs and future income for the country.

Global warming is a hoax. “Boost Tactics” HA made up by the same people that are “concerned” about our economy…DID YOU READ THE STIMULUS PACKAGE?!?!?! It is full of pork. I think ALL bailouts of private industry are a joke. I think the war was and is still a joke…we should not be sending our soldiers to “spread democracy”.

Only a dumb ass would NOT be able to tell that Obama is running scared because he might not make his pay off to his crooks if his stimulus bill is not passed. Obama is trying to scare the Senate into passing the stimulus bill because he is is running scared from the crooks that helped get him elected. If the stimulus bill doesn’t pass Obama’s crisis will be a catastrophe because he won’t be able to pay off crooks like Acorn & the other crooks he owes favors to. Sorry, Obama, “You play, you pay!”

Once again, you fail to explain why renovating govt. property, cyberinfrastructure investments, scientific research, etc. does not stimulate the economy. Explain your reasoning.
Furthermore, using the Fed as your economic boogeyman doesn’t disguise that you haven’t directly addressed the arguments used by economists in favor of the stimulus.

If you are a Republican and live in an area represented by a Republican who helped pass one of these, please do not vote for them next election. It is important that if they represent you that they actually represent you. Politicians always play nice toward the end of a term. Its time we started deciding early who gets to stay and who gos. It seems libertarian is the proper way to vote if you do not want to vote for someone and also don’t want to support the other party.
