I’m still waiting for more money for an amp – I have $275 saved up right now, but I’m not going to get a shitty amp for $300 or somthing. I’m going to do it the right way the first time by investing in a really nice amp!

another amp you can get tons of juice out of for the price around 150-200 usd
is the hcca 225 its from the 80s but can take tons and tons of abuse and you can wire it almost any somewhat logical way and it will take it…
my bud had one that he ran @ 1ohm on i think 6-10’s or something and it got so hot it melted the carpet but still pounded
im trying to work my way up to where i need something like that i only have 4 12s atm good stuff exo..

that silver amp is a phenix gold (Octane R 15.o:1) its a 1500watt mono block amplifire for that class that its runnig (G class) its recomended to only run 12″ subs.. (highly recomended). it pounds the crap out of my Clairion PSXW1252’s.. it also does suck up alot of power but u shouldnt have to rev up the truck… get a compassitor (power cap) it will keep your batter from going under 9v. wich save’s u from shorts n a bunch of other stuff u dont want happenning..

my first set up was only 250$ had subs with tweeters in them old school style (later replaced by duals in a bandpass box for free). all powered up by a off brand over rated amp with poor rca connectors that were somewhat broken from not being screwed to the trunk floor (always mount your amp there not that sturdy when flopping around your trunk), poor wiring, and stock 17yr old tweeters. all with the cheapest / most functional head unit . you get what you pay for i guess lol.

Them Insignias are the shit I got two 12’s hooked up at 1000w each. It hits hard as hell! I only paid $40 bucks for them in a box!!!!
